Problem
Answers are hard to find.
Startup Commune is looking to make finding answers on the internet easier with a new product idea. Their goal is to present an MVP to existing and new investors to start development on their product.

My role
I created the MVP
For one year, I was the lead designer taking feature "Echoes" from a few loose leaf ideas to a high fidelity prototype with the intent of validating this product idea for funding.
Contributions:
Product vision/strategy, user journeys, user flows, information architecture, low/mid fidelity wireframes, high fidelity mockups, prototyping, large scale testing, user interviews.
Discovery
Chasing answers.
My goal of making answers easier to find required a solid foundation of use cases, solutions, and the current journey. To get that data I audited systems, set up tasks analysis, and conducted interviews. My findings showcased aggressive bouncing around from site to site as users weren't able to find answers quickly.

Testing
Asking Questions
A big struggle for people hunting answers is if their question is addressed in the content they are viewing. The questions tab was slowly pushed into an easily digestible concept after many small batches of user testing.
The final design
Echoes
Previously people had to sift through comments or sit through whole videos to get their questions answered, Echoes changed that by offering a clear answer by showcasing questions and letting users get notified to answers.
